Where to buy handbags in Boston Pt.I
Though it was literally freezing in Boston this weekend, I was happy I went out and walked around. I was ecstatic to pick up a long sought after ‘20 Years Later,’ the sequel to Dumas’ ‘The Three Musketeers’, at the Brattle Bookshop (Antique bookstore est. 1825) for $3!! Also, by wandering around Boston in the little neighborhoods, I found a ton of boutiques that were full of great handbags. If you’ve ever asked “Where to find Hayden Harnett bags?” or “Where can I buy handbags in Boston,” or anything of that derivation, hopefully this post will shed some light.
In general, the old neighborhood of Beacon Hill in Boston has a loads of historical significance and is just behind the Boston Public Garden/Boston Commons. And along Charles Street are more lovely clothing, accessories, shoes, and handbags stores than I count. The street in Boston that’s famous for shopping - Newbury Street (not, “NewBERRY” btw) will have everything from H&M to Marc Jacobs and Chanel for you as well. Plus some unique stores. With all the choices, I found 3 stores selling handbags that really caught my eye to share with you over the next few days (it would be unfair to lump them all together in one day)
:the flat of the hill 60 charles st. boston, ma: the actual store has a ton more bags in stock than they do online. This super cute store carries a bit of everything and has unique handbags finds you won’t find many other places. That awesome Lauren Merkin Eve woven clutch - you see, yep you can buy it there too ![]()

Wallet Wednesday: Chinese Laundry ‘Ruffle’ Clutch
Wallet Wednesday has been revived (at least for this week). For the girly girls out there, I’m gonna recommend this pleated out Chinese Laundry ‘Ruffle’ clutch. I love ruffles (both the chips and these on the Ruffle clutch). This Chinese Laundry clutch is aptly named and super cute. Chinese Laundry has found that perfect balance by only having ruffles on one side of the clutch and vertically layering these ruffles (which kind of look like pleats to me..to be perfectly honest). Anyway, uber cute, sleek and stylish, fun and flirty - all very accurate ways to describe the Chinese Laundry Ruffle Clutch. Plus, an under $50 clutch that looks this good, you almost can’t afford not to buy this great find. Oh and btw, it comes in Navy as well if pink is not your favorite.

Harvey’s ‘Seatbelt’ Wristlet
Welcome back from the Thanksgiving break. Hope everyone is enjoying their first day back to work, to school..to..eating normal portion sizes of food..again. Ok, so I’m not sure about ya’ll..but I usually buy gifts in the under $100 dollar range. So..if you’re like me, you’ll enjoy the next few posts where I show you a few bags that will be perfect as gifts and hopefully well within your price range.
To start things off, all of us need a dark clutch to carry around. It’s one of those staple items..just like having black pumps and a white t-shirt. Now, for your funky friend who likes to go a bit off the grid, the Harveys Seatbelt wristlet it perfect. The Seatbelt wristlet is literally made of interwoven seatbelts and is funky, classic, and chic at the same time. Plus it’s ridiculously durable and includes the ever elusive compact mirror.

Featured Bag Boutique: Clutch
I was walking around 4th avenue in Downtown Seattle this past weekend and found a boutique that I was, frankly, flabbergasted that I had not noticed it before. Brought to you by Kimberly and Carrie Arrington, Clutch, (as it claims) is Seatte’s only handbag boutique. I checked it out and am happy to say that their selection is quite lovely. The boutique is the home to a plethora of independent designers whom I love like Dautore, Gustto, Kooba, Boy Meets Girl…and the list goes on. You can purchase from Clutch online or in the store. If you’re in the area and you have an appreciate for handbags, you definitely need to check out Clutch. It’s in a great location next to the Fairmont and all the other wonderful stores in metropolitan Seattle. Here’s to you Clutch for keeping it fabulous and in the family.

Hello from London
Hello Hello all, I’ve just landed in London for the week and am on the lookout for the new trends in London on handbags. In fact, there’s a lovely Orla Kiely shop right across the street from my hotel that I am looking forward to visiting as soon as it opens. I’ve included a picture for ya’ll so you can see what I see across the way =) Next post you can be sure there will be a fabulous Orla Kiely bag for ya’ll to get Stateside. Unfortunately Orla Kiely only has stores in London, Paris, and Hong Kong. So if you happen to be on those areas check out the Orla Kiely Website, or just take a peek at her newest fashions.
